DESCRIPTION:The APWDC have officially received CKC approval for our agility trial June 4th & 5th with esteemed judges Kirsten Locke and Kiersten Lloyd. The trial will be beside the NACA show at Ottewell Golf and Curling club in Edmonton. \nClub members in the area are encouraged to volunteer as this is the main fundraiser for our club. SUMMARY:APWDC Agility Seminar
DESCRIPTION:This seminar is tentatively full! Please contact us if you are interested in attending. \nAgility seminar is planned for May 15 with Lynda Caughlin\, located just north of Olds\, Alberta \nThis seminar will be split into a Starters/Advanced group and Competition Ready/Competing group. Format for the day will be finalized once we have numbers. There will be a limit of 7 dogs per group – 14 dogs in total for the Seminar \n\nStarter/Adv: Team is able to safely perform contacts\, tunnels and jumps\, able to navigate 4-8 obstacle sequences\, but may not yet completely understand weaves\nCompetition Ready/Competing: Team is able to navigate more complex 8-15 obstacle sequences using a variety of handling techniques such as front\, rear\, or blind crosses. Understands weaves\, though may still fault at times.\n\n*All Covid protocols at the time of this seminar will be followed
