Welcome to the APWDC
The Alberta Portuguese Water Dog Club is committed to supporting owners, future owners and all people who are interested in the wonderful Portuguese Water Dog. Activities and events are planned to assist members in having happy, healthy working dogs that they can enjoy throughout their lives.
The club has a special interest in the continuation and growth of Water Work, a sport designed specifically to highlight the historic purpose and skills of the breed. Though members are primarily in Alberta, we welcome members from all of the Western provinces and the American Northwest.
