2026 Water Camp Registration Opens at 7pm (MST) on Sunday, April 12 to club members.
Entries will close April 30th at 11:59pm MT.
APWDC members only event – sign up form will be sent to APWDC members. To sign up to be an APWDC member, please fill Membership form provided on the Club Info > Join page of our website.

As always, all participants are expected to volunteer time to assist with camp, and a detailed volunteer schedule will be sent after registration. There will be jobs for all skill levels and capabilities.

The registration fees will cover the Alberta Parks permit to close off an area for our group, instructor costs and maintenance of the boats and equipment.

Dickson Point has a dryland camping site. Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Hotels are available in Innisfail, a 25 minute drive away from the camp site. Some members often stay at the Joy’s Inn (formerly Motel 6) as it allows dogs. Book your hotel early.

Camp is popular and will be limited to a maximum of 14 handler-dog teams for each set (Thurs/Fri or Sat/Sun), after which registration will be closed April 30, 2026.
